Soccer
Starts on Mondays and Wednesdays during Free Hour in the Spring of 2009.
Come to the Intramural Sports Office in Fitzgerald Gym, Room 206 in order to sign-up.
Rules

The game shall be played by two teams of 11 players, one of which shall be the goalkeeper.

The minimum number of players required to begin a game shall be five (5). A team must begin if at least five (5) players are present. If a team drops below five (5) for any reason it shall be at the referee's discretion if the game should continue.

If only one team is ready to play with the minimum number of players at GAME TIME then that team shall begin the game with a penalty kick at the time the opposing team becomes ready to play. Once the penalty kick has been taken, the team taking the penalty kick will also be awarded the ball for the kickoff to begin play.

If neither team is ready, the game shall begin when both teams become ready with no penalty kick being awarded. The clock will begin at the originally scheduled starting time with no extra time added.

At the 10 minute mark the game shall be declared a no-show.

Teams should have completed their score card with the first and last names of all their players and be warmed up and ready to play as soon as the previous game ends on their field.

Games shall consist of two 20 minute halves with a five minute halftime. The universla chimes will sound to start all games at the same time.

The officials will be in charge of keeping time.

There will be no charged time outs during the game.

A game shall be considered "official" if, after the 10 minute mark of the second half, the game is stopped for inclement weather.
