Our Personal Trainer Instructors include:
Joel Welsh is the head personal trainer in the
Q.C. Fitness Center. He also teaches our Boot Camp
& Lunch Time Toning which includes exercises such
as push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, and other body weight
exercises.
Andrew Pfeffer is a personal trainer in the
Q.C. Fitness Center and a Head Start Children's
Fitness Program instructor. He also assists
with the Athletics Strength and Training program.
Rebecca Ramsey is a
personal trainer in the Q.C. Fitness Center. She runs the Head Start Children's
Fitness Program and also teaches our
Lunch Time Toning class which consists of
interval training in which strength exercises are combined with
endurance/aerobic exercises, combining the benefits of both a
cardiovascular and strength training workout.
Henry Wang is a personal trainer in the
Q.C. Fitness Center. He also teaches
Spinning which helps strengthen your
heart, tone your glutes, calves, and thighs in addition to being a
great exercise for slimmer legs.
Laura Carberry is a personal trainer in the
Q.C. Fitness Center. She is also a graduate student at Queens
College, majoring in the Exercise Science program.
Yuki Miyazawa is a personal trainer in the
Q.C. Fitness Center. He is on the Queens College basketball team
and is majoring in Physical Education.
