The Knights hung tough with NYIT but lost in three sets in an East Coast Conference game played in Flushing on Tuesday night.

A kill by Nicole Nieves brought QC within a point at 23-22 in the first set but NYIT registered the final two points to win 25-22. NYIT then took the next two sets by identical 25-20 scores to win the match.

Linda Tatala-Colin and Camila Dantas each had 11 kills to lead the Knights attack while Latoya Edward had nine kills and 11 digs and Karen Yu added 14 digs in a losing effort.
