Dantas powers QC to three set win at Molloy

Camila Dantas recorded game highs in kills with 18 and in kill percentage at .471 to power Queens College past Molloy College in three sets in an ECC contest played on Thursday night in Rockville Centre, New York. The victory was QC's second of the season in league play.
The Knights breezed to a 25-14 win in the first set by taking nine of the final 11 points. They took set two 25-16 in much the same fashion, outscoring Molloy 10-3 down the stretch before being pushed in the final set. A kill by Linda Tatala-Colin, off of an assist from Janice Loo - who handed out a career high 42 - gave QC a 32-30 win in game three.
Latoya Edward added 13 kills and nine digs and Suzzane Byrne chipped in with 10 kills, seven digs and a .421 kill percentage in a match that saw QC produce a season best .355 kill percentage.
