QC falls to UB on Dig Pink Night

Queens College was beaten this evening by the University of Bridgeport in three sets on Dig Pink Night in Flushing. QC drops to 4-17 and 1-7 while UB improves to 24-4 overall and a perfect 7-0 in ECC play.
The Knights went up 4-2 early in the opening set but that would be their last lead in a game that they would ultimately drop 25-17. QC also led 6-4 in set two but UB took control with 10 consecutive points on their way to another 25-17 win.
The final set was hotly conrtested - seven ties including ones at 17, 19, 20 and 21 - before Bridgeport prevailed, 25-22. Linda Tatala-Colin led the Knights on the night with 11 kills and a kill percentage of .381 while Terry Masava had a game high 13 kills for UB.
