The Knights drove up to Westchester on Tuesday and returned to Flushing with their first ECC win of 2009, a 25-20, 25-23, 25-20 victory over Mercy College.

Camila Dantas, who had a team high 12 kills and 11 digs, had three of those kills in an 11-0 run that gave QC a 19-9 lead in game one. Another of her kills put her team ahead 24-23 in their 25-23 game two win and her final kill of the evening was also the match point in game three.

Latoya Edward added 10 kills and 10 digs while Janice Loo dished out 32 kills and had eight digs on the evening.
