Latoya Edward and Linda Tatala-Colin had 12 kills apiece in a four set loss at NYIT on Thursday. NYIT won by scores of 25-18, 25-19, 18-25 amd 25-18.

In the first game a kill by Edward brought QC to with two points at 10-8 but Tech went on to score nine of the next 11 points to take a commanding 19-11 lead on their way to winnng the set. A Suzanne Byrne (team high 12 digs) kill capped a 6-1 Knights' run in game two that made it 19-18 NYIT but that's as close as the visitors would get in dropping set number two.

It was QC's turn to put together an early run in game three. Trailing 9-8, the Knights scored seven straight points, including two on aces by Byrne, to take a 15-9 lead which they would hold onto the rest of the way.

Unfortunately the Knights couldn't hold onto the momentum they had bulit, losing set four and the match. Camila Dantas had 10 kills and 12 digs and Janice Loo handed out 30 assists in defeat.
