The Lady Knights kicked off their 2009 East Coast Conference schedule with a three set loss at the hands of C.W. Post College on Tuesday.

The scores of the match, played on the campus of Queens College, were 25-9, 25-17 and 25-21. Camila Dantas led QC with 10 kills while Ivana Young had 12 assists and six digs and Suzanne Byrne had a team high 11 digs in a losing effort.
