Senior Night was a success for the Knights as the defeated Mercy College in three sets on Thursday night in senior Janice Loo's final game. With the victory, Queens College wraps up the 2009 season 7-19 overall and 3-9 in ECC play.

Queens College used a fast start and the hitting prowess of Camila Dantas to beat Nyack College in three sets in a non-conference match played on Thursday night in Fitzgerald Gymnasium. Dantas had a game high 20 kills to lead QC to their sixth victory of the season.

Linda Tatala-Colin had eight kills to lead Queens College in a three set loss to Dowling College on Tuesday night in Oakdale, New York. The game scores were 25-15, 25-16 and 25-26.

Dantas powers QC to three set win at Molloy
Camila Dantas recorded game highs in kills with 18 and in kill percentage at .471 to power Queens College past Molloy College in three sets in an ECC contest played on Thursday night in Rockville Centre, New York. The victory was QC's second of the season in league play.

Queens College was beaten this evening by the University of Bridgeport in three sets on Dig Pink Night in Flushing. QC drops to 4-17 and 1-7 while UB improves to 24-4 overall and a perfect 7-0 in ECC play.

C.W. Post College completed a season series sweep over Queens College on Thursday night in Brookville, New York with a four set victory. Camila Dantas led QC's offense with 12 kills and 14 digs.

Lady Knight stalwarts Natalie Edward and Enobong Shammah were named all-East Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) on Tuesday.

Shammah chosen first team Volleyball All-East Region
Enobong Shammah was chosen 2008 Daktronics Women's Volleyball first team all-East Region on Monday morning in a vote taken amoung the region's Sports Information Directors. Shammah led the Lady Knights to a 25-10 record and their first NCAA bid in four years.

QC eliminated from NCAA Volleyball Regionals by UNH
Eighth seeded Queens College was eliminated from the NCAA Division II Volleyball East Regionals by top seeded New Haven, 25-16, 25-23, 25-15 on Thursday night. The Lady Knights wrapped up 2008 with 25 wins, their highest total since they advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2004 with 31 victories.
