Katherine Colon placed second in the 800 meters in the NJIT Invitational Track Meet at Lincoln Park on Saturday afternoon. She finsihed in a time of 2;35.49 in a non-scoring meet.

Sophomore  Jacqueline Ramires improved her personal best time by eight seconds in the same race and finished ninth. In the discus, Freshmen Emily Monaco and Daniela Fuschella finished third and eighth, respectively and the duo also placed ninth and seventh in the shot put.

On the men's side, Joel Walsh ended up in seventh place in the shot put with a throw of 9.35 meters and in the discus Tinash Makotsi finshed eighth and first timer Korey Pinto placed ninth. Makotsi also finished ninth in the 200 meters while Abdulla Salem recorded aninth place finish in the 400 meter hurdles.
