WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Oct. 15, 2018) - Araceli Bel Aleixendri of the Queens College women's tennis team was the shining star of the weekend for the Knights as the East Coast Conference deemed her play worthy of a spot on the Weekly Honor Roll ledger on Monday (Oct. 15).
Bel Aleixendri made the most of her singles and doubles appearance in the Knights' 7-0 romp over Molloy on Saturday. The junior shut out Briana Gonzalez at fourth-singles by a 6-0, 6-0 score and teamed with Line Sorsdahl Aasen to sweep Gonzalez and Alyssa Germaine in doubles play by a 6-0 score as well. Bel Aleixendri has lost just four games total in her four singles matches so far this season.
The Knights will conclude the regular season this weekend with three matches in Western New York State, beginning with a 4 p.m. showdown at Roberts Wesleyan on Friday (Oct. 19).
