Brunetti produced two perfect sets in singles play over the weekend for the Knights, winning both of her matches with 6-0 second set scores at the fourth-flight. The junior defeated UDC's Paula Avellan by a 7-6, 6-0 score on Saturday and then took down Jessica Bergen by a 6-1, 6-0 score on Sunday as the Knights romped over Post University. Brunetti teamed with Marisa Ostoja to win on Sunday at second-doubles against the Eagles in a 6-1 set.

Ostoja meanwhile acquitted herself well to the Queens College women's tennis team in her first weekend with the squad. The Wingate transfer went undefeated in singles play, earning a 7-5, 6-3 win at third-flight in her match with Joanna Skrzypczynska of UDC to help lift the Knights to a 5-2 win. She then blasted Post's Dea Lako to the tune of a 6-1, 6-1 win on Sunday in singles action.

The Knights will take part in hosting the ITA East Regional Championships this weekend from Sept. 14-17 at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows.
