Laura was the coaches selection to repeat as East Coast Conference Player of the Year after winning the award in 2009-10 by leading the Knights Women's Tennis Team to a 21-4 record and their first NCAA Regional Championship since 1985. In the process, the junior from Hyde Park, New York earned a ranking of fourth in the entire East Region in singles. She posted a record of 13-4 in singles and 20-4 in doubles, making her 40-13 in her three year career in singles and 45-17 in doubles. Laura achieved all of this despite a shoulder injury that prevented her from serving overhand.
As a sohpomore in 2008-09, she won the ECC Flight Championships at #2 singles and #2 doubles. She also was named an all-ECC first team all-star and was ranked fourth in the East in singles and seventh in doubles.
In 2007, Laura first team all-ECC and flight champion at #2 singles and #2 doubles.
Before coming to QC she was MHAL Champion, 2006 Player of the Year and a five time Poughkeepsie Journal all-star. At one point Laura was ranked 50th in the East by the USTA and she played first or second singles from seventh through twelfth grade.
