Laura Mocodeanu and Erika Goldsmith helped the Lady Knights to three wins in three matches this past week. As a result, Mocodeanu was named Player of the Week and Goldsmith Rookie of the Week by the East Coast Conference.

Mocodeanu went undefeated for the week, winning two matches at first singles and three matches at the two spot in doubles. Laura won at both singles in doubles in 9-0 victories over C.W. Post and Philadelphia University and in doubles in QC's 9-0 win at the University of the District of Columbia.

Goldsmith, who was also unbeaten for the week, has now won the award four consecutive times. She beat Aysylu Mardanova of C.W. Post and Brittany Villa of Philadelphia in singles after teaming with Mocodeanu to win at #2 doubles against CWP and Somadi Druker to beat the #1 team of PU.
