Coming off an impressive 8-3 fall season and an appearance in the 2008 East Coast Conference Team Championship Finals, the Queens College Lady Knights Women's Tennis team has been ranked second in the East Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

QC is ranked just behind Concordia College, who defeated the Lady Knights 5-2 in the ECC Finals back on October 23rd in Bronxville, New York.

Four Queens College players are also ranked in the top 13 in the East in singles while the parings of Maria Mendes / Alyssa Morra and Kirby Reiss / Laura Mocodeanu are fifth and sixth, respectively, in the doubles rankings. In singles, Mocodeanu is 4th, Mendes is right behind her in 5th, Morra is 12th and freshman Taylor Barber ranks 13th.
