Carl was named Queens College Women's Soccer coach in May of 2008, replacing the retiring Roby Young ... he had joined the staff as an assistant coach in 2007 ... also coached youth level from 2002 to 2007 ... was an all-conference player for the Knights' men's soccer team from 1986 - 1989 ...  from 1987-1998 he was a member of the NY Greek American Atlas, who were US Open Cup Finalists in 1991 ... currently plays with the Istria Soccer Club, who were O30 US quarterfinalists in 2006 ... began his playing career in England on schoolboy teams with Leicester City ... graduated from John Cleveland College of Leicestershire, England in 1986 ... then attended Queens College on an athletic scholarship where he earned a BA in Economics in January of 1991.

Melissa has joined the Women's Soccer staff as an assistant coach for the 2008 season ... she attended Southampton College from 2002-2005 ... in 2005, her team hosted the NCAA regionals and she was named to the all-conference team as a defender ... when Southampton College closed, she transferred to C.W. Post where she once again earned all-conference honors for a team that received an NCAA bid ... upon graduation, Melissa played for the L.I. Lady Riders in the summer of 2006 and currently competes in several leagues, including the N.Y Metro League and the LISL while gaining experience coaching younger players and working at soccer camps ... Melissa is now pursuing her Masters in Education at Queens College in order to teach high school biology.
