Kreps Has Career Day in Net, But Women's Soccer Falls 2-0 at LIU Post Tuesday

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Oct. 2, 2018) - Despite Shenae Kreps posting her first career double-digit save performance on Tuesday (Oct. 2), the Queens College women's soccer team could not topple conference power LIU Post with the Pioneers knocking down the Knights in a 2-0 contest at Pioneer Soccer Park.

Queens (2-6-1, 1-2-1 ECC) was outshot in the contest by a 17-1 margin, with defender Sienna Scully registering the lone attempt for the Knights in the 55th minute on a shot over the crossbar. LIU Post (6-2-1, 3-1 ECC) was already ahead by a 2-0 score with goals coming from Sydney Pasquarella in the 14th minute and Samantha Gordon in the 30th minute, respectively. Kreps was stellar in net for QC in spite of the two-goal margin; the freshman keeper recorded 10 saves and kept the Pioneers off the board for the final hour of game time.

Queens will return home on Saturday (Oct. 6) for a 1 p.m. contest against East Coast Conference foe Roberts Wesleyan.
