Four-Goal Game Lifts Ramirez to Spot on ECC Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll

WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Sept. 17, 2018) - Victoria Ramirez of the Queens College women's soccer team was selected to the East Coast Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday (Sept. 17) following a spectacular offensive game on Saturday to lift the Knights to a victory.

Ramirez was the main catalyst behind Queens College's first victory of the year in a 7-1 win against Lincoln (Pa.) on Saturday in East Coast Conference action. The junior forward posted a four-goal afternoon including the game-winner, on seven targeted shots and eight shots total. Most of Ramirez's goals came from distance. It was the first time that a QC women's soccer player had scored four goals in a game since Andrea Slavin's four-goal performance back in 2011, coincidentally in a win over Lincoln (Pa.).

The Knights travel to Bentley University on Thursday (Sept. 20) for a 3 p.m. match-up with the Falcons.
