Just a few moments later, the Knights were able to build on their lead again, when Vernillo scored her fourth goal of the 2017 campaign off a dish from Paolillo at the 82:55 mark. Gallivan added to the total in the final seconds with her second goal of the season.
The Knights, who played the game in pink shirts in honor of their Pink Game, raised $1,000 for the American Cancer Society.
