Queens College continued to roll, shutting out Nyack College, 2-0, for their seventh win in their last eight games. With the non-conference victory the Knights are now 7-0 at home and 9-4-1 overall.

The Knights led 1-0 at the break after holding Nyack without a shot and playing almost the entire 45 minutes in the visitor's half of the field. Christina Salameh put a diagonal pass from the left wing to center right where Katherine Colon was waiting for the shot and goal at 14:11. For Colon it was her second of the year.

QC contuned to pressure Nyack and at 73:08 finally picked up an insurance goal. Jenna Peveraro's free kick found Melissa Cuartas in the box and she made no mistakes in picking up her third of the campaign.

With the shutout win, Queens College goalkeeper Allison Breakey and the rest of her squad have now gone 188:44 without surrendering a goal.
