Silipo and Slavin each score twice in 6-1 win

Brittany Silipo and Andrea Slavin each had a pair of goals as Queens College easily defeated Felician College, 6-1, on Tuesday in Flushing, New York. Sarah Boucher (her first) and Chenelle Geoffroy also scored for QC as the improved to 5-3-1.
QC jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on Slavin's ninth goal of the season at the 6:48 mark. The score became 2-0 when Silipo capitalized on a misplay by Felician goalkeeper Shaneil Lorenzo and found an empty net for her fifth of the year three and a half minutes later. In the 26th minute, Chenelle Geoffroy gave QC a three goal cushion with the prettiest goal of the afternoon. Geoffroy made a nice play to gain control on the right sideline, wheeled and shot left footed from 25 yards out, putting the ball over everyone's heads and into the top left hand corner of the cage.
Silipo's second of the game, off an assist from Boucher, made it 4-0 in the 56th minute. Three minutes later, Boucher scored her first collegiate goal off a Silipo rebound to make it 5-0. Slavin then tallied for the second time of the day on Silipo's second assist of the game to close out the scoring for QC in the 61st minute.
Emily Gleason of Felician spoiled Allison Breakey's shutout attempt with just 12 seconds left to make the final QC 6, Felician 1.
