Slavin nets three in 6-0 win over STAC

Andrea Slavin scored three goals to pace the Lady Knights to a 6-0 win over St. Thomas Aquinas on Tuesday afternoon in Flushing, New York. The win evened QC's ECC record at 1-1.

Slavin opened the scoring 5:58 into the match when she took a nice feed from Laura D'Amore - who finished the day with two assists - and beat STAC goalkeeper Jeanette Gibson. Freshman Brittany Silipo made it a 2-0 game with an unassisted goal at 24:46 before Melissa Cuartas closed out the scoring for the first half with her first of the year at 43:48, with the assist going to Dena Zornberg.

Chenelle Geoffroy gave QC a four goal advantage when she scored for the first time in '09 at 48:06. Slavin then completed her hat trick with goals in the 73rd and 89th minutes.
