Lady Pioneers blank QC, 2-0 C.W. Post beat Queens College , 2-0, in the Lady Knights 2009 East Coast Conference opener. QC fell behind 9:12 into the contest when Ivana Babic crossed the ball from the left side to Qaroline Nabl, who scored from three yards out. The home team made it 2-0 on a Sanna Pettersson goal in the 38th minute. Allison Breakey made three saves and Brittany Silipo led QC with two shots as their team fell to 2-3-1 for 2009. |
