Allison Breakey of the Lady Knights has been selected as this week's East Coast Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week. Breakey posted a 1-0-1 record with a 1.35 goals against average in the DoubleTree Kick Off Classic in her collegiate debut this past weekend.

Breakey made ten saves, including three in overtime, to help preserve a 2-2 tie on Friday against Merrimack College in Colchester, Vermont. The very next day, she carried a shutout into the 71st minute until she was beaten for the only time on an own goal in a 2-1 win over host school St. Michael's.

Allison, who finished the weekend with 14 saves and a .824 save percentage, was later named one of three Most Valuable Players for the Classic.
