The Lady Knights rallied for two second half goals to beat NYIT, 2-1, in Old Westbury, New York on Monday. Melissa Cuartas and Andrea Slavin scored for QC, who improved to 11-5 overall and 3-4 against ECC competition.

Tech drew first blood in the 28th minute on a goal by Ally Halbig. She took a cross into the box from Taylor Jensen and put a shot into the top left corner to put her team ahead, 1-0.

The score remained that way until 62:28 when Cuartas chipped a through ball over the head of Tech's goalkeeper from 35 yards out to knot the game at one. For Cuartas, it was her sixth of the season, with the assist going to Slavin. QC took the lead for good 18 minutes later when Slavin connected on a free kick from the left side of the penalty box for her 11th marker of the 2008 campaign.
