    Queens College acting director of athletics, Brian DeMasters announced Monday that Tricia Moran Bonagura (pictured, at left), assistant coach of the Knights’ women’s lacrosse program during its first two seasons of varsity competition, has been elevated to the head coaching spot, effective immediately. Moran Bonagura, a four-time Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) first-team All-America selection (2001-04) as a player at C.W. Post, takes over for Kerry Hausdorf – who resigned to accept a full-time position within the women’s lacrosse community.

The game was dedicated to Lax-4-Life, a campaign aimed at raising adolescent suicide awareness.

The contest will be made up Sun., April 17, at Mercy College, with opening face-off set for 4 p.m. Additionally, the April 6 contest at St. Thomas Aquinas College, has been moved to 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 23.
