Title defense ends with playoff loss at C..W. Post
Queens College's defense of their conference title ended with a 69-44 loss at third seeded C.W. Post College in the East Coast Conference Women's Basketball Championship Play-in game on Wednesday. Jennifer Robbins led QC with 10 points and nine rebounds.

ECC honors for Harnischfeger and Johnson
The East Coast Conference has announced that its head coaches have selected the Knights' Christine Harnischfeger as a 2nd team all-star and added Chloe Johnson to the 2009-2010 all-Rookie team.

As is the custom at Queens College, Jennifer Robbins, Janine Maser and Brittany Faherty were honored in a ceremony on prior to the team's final home game on Senior Night. C.W. Post won the contest, 68-52.

Three players score 14 in 78-67 loss to UB
Chloe Johnson, Jamie DiChiara and Jennifer Robbins each scored 14 points in a 78-67 Queens College loss to first place Bridgeport on Wednesday in Flushing. Before tip-off members of the 2008-09 squad received rings to commemorate their ECC Championship.

Molloy edges QC for thrid time in 2009-10 season
Molloy College edged the Knights, 50-46, on Monday night in Rockville Centre, New York. The loss was QC's third of the year at the hands of Molloy, all by a combined total of 12 points. Jamie DiChiara led Queens College with 15 points.

The Knights wasted a good start in Oakdale, New York in a 78-70 loss to Dowling College on Saturday. Danielle Tharrington scored a career best 20 for QC, who led by 12 points with 13 minutes elapsed in the first half.

Harnischfeger and Robbins give QC a leg up in race for a playoff spot
Christine Harnischfeger had 17 and Jennifer Robbins added 15 points and 15 rebounds to lead Queens College to a 71-56 win at Mercy College in ECC action on Wednesday. The victory gives the Knights a two game lead over NYIT and a three game edge over Mercy in the race for the final playoff spot.

Career High 29 for Harnischfeger in big Pink Zone Day win
Christine Harnischfeger poured in a career high 29 points to pace Queens College to a 64-40 victory over New York Tech on Pink Zone Day in Flushing. The win gives QC a one game lead over NYIT for the sixth and final playoff spot with five games to go.

Leane Urbancik scored with five seconds left to hand the Knights a 65-64 loss on Saturday at St. Thomas Aquinas. Christine Harnischfeger of QC led all scorers with 23 points in a game that saw the Knights behind by as much as 18 in the second half.

DiChiara and Bartlett share MBWA Player of the Year award
Jennifer DiChiara and Amanda Bartlett of Queens College were named All-Met Division II womens college basketball Co-Players of the Year Thursday by the National Invitation Tournament and the Met Basketball Writers Association. Tom Flahive was also selected Coach of the Year.

Lady Knights title run derailed in Regionals
The Lady Knights most successful season of the last two decades came to a conclusion in Philadelphia on Friday night in the NCAA Regionals. Second seed Holy Family handed seventh seeded Queens College a 74-43 defeat, leaving the Lady Knights with a final record of 24-7.

Lady Knights are Queens of the ECC
Tournament Most Valuable Player Amanda Bartlett poured in 27 points as the Lady Knights captured the East Coast Conference Women's Basketball Championship with a convincing 75-49 victory over Dowling College in Garden City, NY. The title, the first for the Queens College Women's Basketball program since joining the Division II ranks, earns them an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship Tournament.
