Lady Knights drop regular season finale at Dowling, 66-55

Queens College lost at Dowling College on Saturday afternoon, 66-55, in their regular season finale. Next up for the Lady Knights will be St. Thomas Aquinas College in the ECC Quartefinals on Wednesday evening in Flushing.
After starting the season 1-4, QC won 20 of 22 to finish at 21-6. Their only two losses during this streak came at the hands of Dowling.
Dowling used an 8-0 run to open up a 32-22 lead with 3:08 remaining in the first half. They broke the game open by stringing together 12 consecutive points to go up 53-34 with 10:13 left in the game.
Jamie DiChiara led QC with 14 points and nine boards while her sister Jennifer had 11 points and 13 rebounds. Amanda Bartlett also had 13 points for the Lady Knights, who shot a mere 26.8% from the field, including 20.6% in the second half.
