Lady Knights forward Jennifer DiChiara was chosen East Coast Conference Player of the Week for her part in helping Queens College to a perfect 3-0 record last week. The graduate student from Smithtown, New York averaged 20 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks per game, including three double-doubles.

DiChiara kicked off the week with 26 points, 15 rebounds and five rejections in a 83-70 win over Mercy College in Fitzgerald Gym on Martin Luther King Day. Two days later, Jennifer had 19 points, 11 boards, five blocks, three steals and two assists as QC beat NYIT, 81-57. She completed the week on Saturday with 15 points, 14 rebounds, five blocked shots and three assists in a 63-54 win over Molloy College in a battle for first place overall in the ECC.

With her three double-doubles last week, DiChiara now has 10 in the Lady Knights' 12 game winning streak.
