Bartlett Sweeps ECC Weekly Basketball Awards

Queens College's Amanda Bartlett made a clean sweep of the East Coast Conference's weekly women's basketball awards by being named both Player and Rookie of the Week for games from January 21st through the 27th. The Player of the Week award is the first of Amanda's career and the Rookie award marks the fifth time that she has won or shared it in this, her freshman season at QC.

Bartlett averaged 26 points, four rebounds, 4.5 assists and one steal in a 2-0 week for the Lady Knights. She notched 15 points, including six in a 10-0 run that erased an eight point deficit with four minutes to go, in QC's 66-62 win at Dowling. Amanda followed that up with a career high 37 point performance in the Lady Knights 83-69 victory over Mercy College in Westchester.

The Mesa, Arizona native was also named ECAC Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
