    The Queens College Department of Athletics hosted its annual Year-End Awards Banquet on Tuesday evening at the Harbor Links. The department celebrated the many accomplishments from the 2016-17 season and handed out major department awards, while each team distributed individual sport awards.

    The Queens College softball team capped off its home schedule on Friday by splitting an East Coast Conference (ECC) doubleheader with NYIT. Senior Morgan Starley held the Bears in check in a complete game effort to lead Queens to a 2-1 win in game one, while NYIT won a pitchers’ duel in the second game, 1-0.

  • Knights Volunteer To Help Build Local Playground

    On Friday, Sept. 23, members of the Queens College men's and women's basketball and softball teams helped with the building of a new playground for more than 2,000 kids at the Bay Terrace Center. The Knights were introduced to the project by Jessica Sanchez, women’s basketball alum (Class of 2008), the Assistant Athletic Director at the Samuel Field Y.
