Danielle DiGioia has been named East Coast Conference Player of the Week for games played between March 30th and April 5th. This marks the second consecutive week that a Queens College Player has won the award. Megan White was the recipient seven days ago.

DiGioia had at least one hit in each of QC's ten games this past week as well as five multi-hit games, posting a .630 average with 17 hits and 10 RBIs. Amoung her performances were a six for seven afternoon with a double, a home run and five runs batted in to help the Lady Knights take a pair of 4-2 decisions from Mercy College and a three for four day with three RBIs in a split with C.W. Post.

The junior from Patchogue, New York currently ranks second on the team with a .347 batting average, 25 hits and 13 runs batted in.
