Originally form Flushing, N.Y., Ben is a 1975 graduate of Francis Lewis High School where he ran Cross country and Track. Ben is a 1979 graduate of Queens College earning a BA degree in Accounting and a teammate of Coach Welch. He ran cross country and track all four years while at QC. He was a distance runner during his tenure with the 2 mile as his specialty.
After graduating Ben became a CPA and later earned an MBA from NYIT. He is self-employed as both a CPA and a Mortgage Broker. He resides in Garden City with his wife, Evelyn and his three children.

track team provided the foundation for later success and lifelong
