STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (Feb. 23, 2018) - The Queens College indoor track and field teams finished in eighth place in both men's and women's meets of the East Coast Conference Indoor Track Championship on Friday (Feb. 23) at Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island.
Andrew Saulpaugh earned himself an All-Conference accolade with a runner-up finish in the men's weight throw (15.61 meters) to lead the charge for the Knights. Meanwhile, Trevon Stith ran a 13th-place time of 23.45 seconds in the 200-meter dash. Terrilyn Britton and Diana Cruz led the results on the women's track events for the Knights. Britton was fourth in the 60-meter dash (7.89 seconds) and eighth in the 200-meter dash (26.34s) while Cruz took 10th in the 200 (27.07 seconds) and sixth in the 500-meter dash with a time of 1:21.84. Nakeema Neunie also had a positive performance with an fifth-place time of 2:29.07 in the 800-meter run for the Knights. Rounding out QC's showings in the women's events was Renee Lustin, who captured a fourth-place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 12.45 meters.
