Knights Tennis Team opens Spring season by defeating Monmouth, 6-3

The Knights kicked off their spring season with a 6-3 win over Monmouth College on Friday afternoon in Flushing, New York. QC won four of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches.

Fabio Minami beat Ben Evenden of Monmouth, 6-0, 2-6, 6-1 in first singles and David Burstein posted a 6-4 3-2 (retired) victory at the two spot to pace the Knights. Newcomers Patryk Polus and James Preston produced the other two singles wins, at second and fourth singles, respectively.

Polus and Preston also paired up to win at #1 doubles, 8-6. The Knights other doubles win came at the three spot - Burstein and Jessie Smith won 8-4.
