WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Oct. 25, 2018) - The Queens College men's soccer team clinched a spot in the East Coast Conference postseason tournament on Wednesday (Oct. 24) with a 4-1 win over Molloy. The Knights got there, however, mostly thanks to Romario Hulea's performance last week which earned him a spot on the ECC Weekly Honor Roll.
Hulea scored two goals on Wednesday in the team's 3-2 victory over NYIT, with his second goal being the game-winning marker in the 81st minute. In his debut season with Queens, the junior ranks at or near the top of the team's statistical categories including points (14) and goals (6).
Queens will play Dominican (N.Y.) on Friday (Oct. 26) at 3 p.m. in the Knights' regular-season finale. The team will await the results Saturday to know who they will face Wednesday (Oct. 31) in the East Coast Conference semifinals and where the game will take place.
