WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Oct. 15, 2018) - Fleet of foot and quick with crafty decision-making abilites, junior forward Kevin Quituizaca of the Queens College men's soccer team made life rough for opposing defenses in the past week. The junior's hard work was recognized by the East Coast Conference on Monday (Oct. 15) as Quituizaca was named to the ECC Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll.
The speedy Quituizaca was a pest for Concordia to deal with on Wednesday in the Knights' 7-0 victory over the Clippers. Quituizaca had a foot in QC's first four goals, scoring two of them and adding two assists to his ledger for a six-point day. The junior forward scored his two goals on just three total shots in the non-conference win.
Quituizaca and the Knights play their final regular-season home contest on Wednesday (Oct. 17) at 3 p.m. against NYIT at the QC Soccer Field in Flushing.
