    The Queens College Department of Athletics hosted its annual Year-End Awards Banquet on Tuesday evening at the Harbor Links. The department celebrated the many accomplishments from the 2016-17 season and handed out major department awards, while each team distributed individual sport awards.

Many of the athletes live lives unbeknownst to their fans, and for Queens College men’s soccer player Nikolas Touros, this could not be any truer. Niko, a college junior and midfielder on the Knights, is also an avid musical theater performer, who enjoys the stage as much as he enjoys the pitch.
  • Men's Soccer Duo Earns All-ECC Recognition

    Queens College men's soccer sophomore András Breuer and senior Nikolas Maher were named to the All-ECC Team, the league announced. Breuer was a Second Team selection, while Maher was named to the Third Team.
  • Men's Soccer Volunteers At Town of North Hempstead's Spooky Walk

    The Queens College men's soccer team recently volunteered at the Town of North Hempstead's Spooky Walk. The team assisted with staffing the festive event at Clark Botanical Gardens and had a great time in doing so. The players got into the spirit of things, dressing up and interacting with all of the kids visiting the Spooky Walk.

    A group of Queens College men's soccer alums recently got together on campus for a team reunion. Made up mostly of former student-athletes from the late 1960s and early 1970s, members of the team shared stories of their time at QC, talked about former teammates and looked over old photos.

    Looking to make the postseason race for the fourth seed interesting, the Queens College men’s soccer were unable to answer the barrage launched by the Purple Knights of University of Bridgeport in a 6-2 loss in East Coast Conference action Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, the Knights dropped to 5-7-4 overall, 2-4-2 in league play, while the Purple Knights moved to 3-10-2 overall, and 3-3-2 in conference.

The Knights move to 4-5-4 overall and 1-2-2 ECC with the result, while the Mavericks are now 7-3-3 overall and 2-3-2 in conference action.

    Playing a man down for the final 22:39 of the contest, the Queens College men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 overtime decision to Roberts Wesleyan Sunday afternoon at QC Soccer Field. The visiting Redhawks evened the match at one with just under 10 minutes remaining in the second half before clinching the victory in the 99th minute.
