Newcomers lead Knights past Bentley, 2-1

Newcomers Danny Stoker and Frank Alesci were the goal scorers for Queens College in their 2-1 win over Bentley University in Waltham, Massachussets on Saturday.

Stocker, making his collegiate debut, broke a scoreless deadlock when he took a free kick from Alesci and put a header past Bentley goalie Michael Nikiforov at 72:06. Bentley answered right back by converting a corner by Jimmy Alexander into a goal off of the foot of Nicco Roffo a minute and 11 seconds later to make it a 1-1 game.

Alesci, playing in his second game as a Knight, gave his team the lead for good at 77:35 when he beat Nikiforov from 15 yards out.
