"The makeup of this year's schedule will present a significant challenge," Collier stated. "On the road against UConn in an exhibition game to prepare for our regular season, a long slate of home games in the non-conference and the always rigorous ECC play. We are excited to have 16 home games this year, so our fans have many opportunities to watch us compete."

First, the Knights will prepare for the regular season with an exhibition game at UConn on Sunday, Nov. 5, at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Conn. The ECC Men's Basketball Championship will begin with first-round games on Wednesday, Feb. 28. The semifinals are slated for Saturday, March 3, and the title game will take place the following day, March 4. Both the semifinals and finals will be hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College.

"I believe the ECC will be very competitive this year, with not a lot of separation in the conference standings, so every game will be heavily contested," continued Collier. "We are looking forward to providing exciting and highly competitive basketball for our program and for our fans."

Last season, the Knights went 13-13 overall, their highest win total since 2010-11. Queens went 10-8 in conference play, making its first appearance in the ECC tournament since 2013-14.
