Allicott and Mocodeanu win QC Silver Knight Awards
ECC Players of the Year Khaleef Allicott of Men's Basketball and Laura Mocodeanu of Women's Tennis now share another distinction. On Monday, May 24th, both players were named winners of the prestigious Silver Knights Award at the 2010 Queens College Athletics Awards Dinner.

In a season filled with awards, Khaleef Allicott has added one more to his resume. Last night Allicott was named first team all-Met Division II by the National Invitation Tournament and the Met Basketball Writers Association.

Knights guard Khaleef Allicott was one of five players named today to the 2009-2010 Daktronics NCAA Division II Men's Basketball East All-Region first team. Allicott is the ECC's lone representative on either the first or second teams.

Knights Championship road reaches a dead end in the ECC Semis
C.W. Post ended the Knights championship hopes by defeating QC 71-62 in the East Coast Conference Men's Basketball Semifinals on Saturday. Akim Neverson led the Knights with 19 points and eight rebounds in their season ending loss.

Knights beat Dowling to advance to the ECC Semifinals
Five Knights scored in double digits, led by Khaleef Allicott's 16, to propel QC past Dowling College, 80-67, in the 2010 ECC Men's Basketball Championship Play-in game on Wednesday in Flushing. Next up for Queens College will be second seeded C.W. Post on Saturday at 7:30 pm at Post.

ECC names Allicott Player of the Year, Neverson 2nd team all-star
Khaleef Allicott has been named 2009-2010 East Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year in a poll of the conference's head coaches. Allicott joins Bradd Wierzbicki as the only two players in Knights' history to be so honored. Teammate Akim Neverson was also chosen 2nd team all-ECC.

Liddelow and Sikiric have numbers retired
Queens College is proud to announce that it has retired the numbers of two of the top six scorers in Knights’ men’s basketball history. Kirk Liddelow, who wore number 23, and John Sikiric, who wore number 10, were honored in a ceremony held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 in The Summit, on the campus of Queens College.

Akim Neverson scored a game high 22 in the Knights 77-72 loss to C.W. Post College on Senior Night. Khaleef Allicott, Gerald Eugene and Greg Tull were recognized for their four years at QC in a pre-game ceremony.

Knights beat Bridgeport 65-61 for sixth straight
Queens College made it six wins in a row by beating the University of Bridgeport, 65-61, in Fitzgerald Gymnasium on Wednesday. The Knights close out the regular season on Saturday at home versus C.W. Post before hosting Dowling next Wednesday night in the ECC Playoffs.

Liddelow, Sikiric Number Retirement Ceremony set for Saturday
The Queens College Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Alumni Association, is retiring the numbers of two men's basketball alumni on Saturday, February 27th. Kirk Liddelow will have his # 23 retired while John Sikiric's #10 will also be immortalized.

Queens College clinched third place with a 83-74 victory at Molloy College on Monday night. Lamonte Lans led the Knights with 20 points while Khaleef Allicott, who was named ECC Co-Player of the Week earlier in the day, added 18.

Khaleef Allicott became the ninth player to score 1500 points in a Knights' uniform in a 72-68 win over Dowling College on Saturday afternoon in Oakdale, New York. The senior from Brooklyn reached the plateau with a basket with just over six minutes left in the game.

Queens College topped the century mark, scoring 108 points in a 26 point win over Mercy College on Wednesday in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Lamonte Lans led five Knights in double digits with a career high 26 points.

For the second time this season, Queens College forward Akim Neverson has been named East Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Neverson also earned the award four weeks ago.

Akim Neverson had 21 points and 19 rebounds in the Knights' 70-64 win over NYIT in Fitzgerald Gymnasium on Saturday night. With the win QC moves a game and a half ahead of NYIT and one full game ahead of Molloy in the race for third place in the ECC.

Lamonte Lans poured in a career high 23 points for the Knights in a 81-66 victory at St. Thomas Aquinas College on Saturday afternoon. Four players scored in double figures for QC in a win that gave them a sweep of the season series between the two schools.

Allicott cracks top ten in win over Dowling
Khaleef Allicott made two free throws with 17:48 left in the game to pass Sean Easton and Shaun Bertin and move into ninth place on the Knights all time scoring list in a 73-70 victory over Dowling College in Fitzgerald Gym. With a career high 33 points, Allicott now has 1,411 points in 100 career games at QC.

QC led by as many as 34 points in registering a 78-60 victory over conference rival Mercy College in Flushing on Saturday night. Terrell Simmons led the Knights offense with 17 points.
