Mike Liander was named Player of the Week and Edil Lacayo Rookie of the Week by the East Coast Conference for their efforts on the court this past weekend at the ECAC Holiday Classic, hosted by Caldwell College.

Liander averaged 25 points and 9 rebounds for the weekend, shooting 62 percent from the floor and 45 percent from three point land.  The senior from Elmhurst , New York recorded a double-double (19 pts and 12 rbs) against Felician on Saturday afternoon and finished the weekend with a game high 31 points and 6 boards in an overtime loss to Caldwell. 

Lacayo averaged ten points a game, connecting on 5-of-10 from beyond the arc. Lacayo put up 11 points against Felician and added 9 against Caldwell.
