The Knights worked overtime in losing to Caldwell College, 77-75, in the ECAC Holiday Classic on Sunday evening in Caldwell, New Jersey. QC was led by Mike Liander, who scored 31 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Down 20-10 early, the Knights rallied to take a 37-36 lead after 20 minutes. QC led by as much as six points with 2:27 left and had a 70-68 edge with 70 seconds left after Liander made two free throws. However, a basket by Manny Perez of Caldwell with 45 seconds remaining tied the game and sent it into overtime.

Nik Otovic completed a 7-2 Caldwell run with a bucket that gave his team a 77-72 lead with 28 seconds left in the extra session. Liander answered for the Knights with a three pointer 10 seconds later but QC couldn't send the game to double overtime despite coralling the rebound when Carl Augustin missed the front end of a one and one for Caldwell with 0:17 on the clock.

Khaleef Allicott had 17 points, seven assists and five steals for the Knights, who have been beaten in their last three games by a combined total of six points.
