Balanced attack carries Knights past Concordia, 68-60

Four Knights scored in double figures in their 68-60 win over Concordia College on Wednesday night in Westchester. The victory was QC's first of the season in conference play.

Terrell Simmons had four points, Mike Liander added three and Martin Singleton beat the buzzer with a three pointer to cap a 10-0 run that pulled the Knights to within a point of Concordia at the half (34-33). The second half featured six ties before Singleton connected on a pair from the charity stripe to put Queens College ahead for good, 59-57, with 5:19 remaining in the contest.

Liander led the QC attack with 14 points and seven rebounds while Singleton finished with 13 points and four steals. Khallef Allicott (11) and Simmons (10) also scored in double digits for the Knights.
