Freshman Edil Lacayo led Queens College with 19 points in a 88-73 loss to Post University of Connecticut on Saturday afternoon in the 3rd Annual Jim Clancy Tournament, hosted by Dominican College. Next up for the Knights is Mercy College on January 10th in Fitzgerald Gymnasium.

QC took a 17-15 lead with 8:57 gone on a bucket by Mike Liander but Post shot a blistering 62.1% from the field to make it a 48-26 game at the break.  The Knights outscored Post 47-40 in the second half.

Liander finished with 15 points and eight rebounds and Lamont Lans added 11 more for the Knights.
