Arif Khan, a 2011 Queens College accounting graduate, was hired in the department of athletics in the summer of 2011. He was born and raised in Guyana until 1999, and received a regents diploma with merit from John Adams High School (Ozone Park, N.Y.) in 2006. In addition to his coursework at Queens, Khan’s accounting background saw a stint in Fall, 2010 as an accounting assistant in the College’s office of accounting and accounts payable – where he assisted in month-end closings and the maintenance of the accounts payable system and records, among other duties. He also served an internship in his senior year at Shanholt, Glassman, Klein, Kramer and Co.’s CPA firm, where he played a role in the preparation of tax returns and extensions in the fast-paced Spring environment.

An expert in the Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, ProSystem Fx and MIP Sage Accounting software suites, Khan resides in South Ozone Park, N.Y.
