Drew Dillon graduated from the University of Dayton in Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Education and has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) for over thirty-two years. He has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 1982 and has worked in various high schools, universities and physical therapy clinics.

Presently, Drew fills several capacities for Queens College as the Director of Sports Medicine for the Athletic Department.  As a Head Athletic Trainer, his responsibilities include supervision of graduate assistant athletic trainers, implementation and supervision of athlete rehabilitation programs, referrals and follow up of athletes whose injuries require outside medical treatment. His responsibilities involve the numerous administrative tasks associated with running a college athletic training facility that supports over 300 student athletes. Drew's team coverage responsibilities include the Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Swimming, Fencing, and Women's Lacrosse (CLUB) teams.

Drew successfully started the Queens College Athletic Strength Training Program and serves as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.  That program is designed to increase the athletic skills of all athletes through agility, endurance, Olympic style weight lifting and speed workouts. Drew also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Nutrition, Family and Exercise Science Department - Physical Education.   

Among Drew's certifications are CPR/ AED Instructor, First Aid Instructor for the American Red Cross and New York State Emergency Technician. Drew, who earned his Masters degree in Exercise Science at Queens College, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist; as well as a long time member of the National Strength Coaches Association.  

Drew is a native Long Islander, an avid boater and resides in West Islip with his wife, Alicia; who has been the Queens College Aquatic Director and Women's Swimming coach for the last 20 years. Drew's 23 year old daughter, Natasha, is a financial analyst.
