FENCING

Aleksandr Ulanovskiy started the Queens College Women's fencing program in 2001. He had previously coached in Italy from 1998-99 where his team finished third in the national Championships. Before Italy, Aleksandr worked with the Ukraine national team from 1994-1997. In 1995 his team finished third in the World Junior Championships in France.

Individually, Aleksandr captured first place in the USSR Championships in 1984. He also finished first in the Ukraine Championship from 1986-1988 as well as the USA Summer National Championship in 2004.
