Knights back Friedman's complete game with 14 hit attack

The Knights banged out 14 hits and Brian Friedman threw his sixth complete game of the season in a 10-3 win at Mercy College on Friday afternoon.
Anielo Napolitano doubled in Jeffrey Gomez with the first of two runs in the Knights' half of the second inning. Jared Stoler, Matt Ortiz and Noel Gerena, Jr. each had run scoring singles in a four run ffith to give QC a commanding 6-0 lead.
Friedman struck out nine while surrendering a run in the sixth and two unearned runs in the eighth to even his record at 3-3 for the season. Stoler and Napolitano each had two hits and two RBIs and David Fisher added two hits and two runs scored for the Knights.
