Reyes goes the distance for 3-1 win over Briarcliffe

Eric Reyes went the distance for the Knights in a 3-1 win over Briarcliffe College on Wednesday afternoon in Flushing. Reyes scattered five hits to pick up the W for QC.
Reyes got all the support he needed in the bottom of the first inning when Jeffrey Gomez singled with one out and the bases loaded to drive in Jared Stoler and David Fisher, who had both reached on singles to right field. QC added a third run in the fifth when Anielo Napolitano scored on a single off of the bat of Fisher.
Briarcliffe spolied Reyes' bid for a shutout in their last at bat when Steve Shea drove home Andrew Raschen with the only run they would score on the afternoon.
